Erin here: I have a new friend and its name is really really cute purple purse that I spent my grocery money on... (hey eating is cheating anyways right). I bought the purse on Friday during an innocent trip to the Newport TJ Maxx (otherwise known as the greatest place on earth). I was walking by the purse section after trying on many many pairs of jeans and I saw the beauty just sitting there. I knew instantly it had to be mine and without flinching threw it in my cart and checked out. When I got home I noticed that the bag was made by a company called B. Makowsky which I had never heard of so I decided to do some research.
Here is what I found: The B. Makowsky brand combines fine leathers, sleek hardware and stylish designs to create affordable leather handbags for today’s marketplace. Named after Bruce Makowsky, the brand was created by himself and wife Kathy (of Kathy Van Zeeland fame) in 2006. I love my new bag (and now my new favorite bag company). Its a great size (not too big but enough to put tons of stuff in, it has a really cute animal print lining, the straps are just long enough to go over your shoulder or hold in your hand and it is made out of incredible soft leather.
