Wicked Yummy Website

I'm Hungry, You're Hungry, We are all very very hungry... which is why one of my favorite websites to read is Hungry Girl! The Hungry Girl's name is Lisa and she is just like all of us (but with her own website that probably makes her mucho money). She tries the latest fad diets, tries all the new fat free food and is nice enough to put up weight watchers points on all her recipes. She also talks about fast foods and explains what's bad and what's really really bad. She is so good that she got her own cook book which when I decide to cook has amazing recipes. Here's the link and don't forget to sign up for the daily email!!

Wicked Yummy Purses

Erin here: I have a new friend and its name is really really cute purple purse that I spent my grocery money on... (hey eating is cheating anyways right). I bought the purse on Friday during an innocent trip to the Newport TJ Maxx (otherwise known as the greatest place on earth). I was walking by the purse section after trying on many many pairs of jeans and I saw the beauty just sitting there. I knew instantly it had to be mine and without flinching threw it in my cart and checked out. When I got home I noticed that the bag was made by a company called B. Makowsky which I had never heard of so I decided to do some research.

Here is what I found: The B. Makowsky brand combines fine leathers, sleek hardware and stylish designs to create affordable leather handbags for today’s marketplace. With much attention to quality, our classic handbags feel great with a look that is timeless. Named after Bruce Makowsky, the brand was created by himself and wife Kathy (of Kathy Van Zeeland fame) in 2006. Their success at growing the brand in two years has been unprecedented, and they truly want their customers to feel luxurious and be complimented on having great style with a B. Makowsky handbag

I love my new bag (and now my new favorite bag company). Its a great size (not too big but enough to put tons of stuff in, it has a really cute animal print lining, the straps are just long enough to go over your shoulder or hold in your hand and it is made out of incredible soft leather.

If your lucky you can find one of these bags at TJ Maxx or Marshalls or they are sold at Macy's Dillards, Nordstrom, Endless and Zappos.

A Wicked Yummy...

Guest poster! Hi darlings. It's Victoria from FleurdeVie. The Wicked Yummy Finds gals have kindly let me guest post on their fabulous new blog. So my wicked yummy find is my Sigg water bottle.

I purchased my Sigg bottle because 1-anything made in Switzerland is automatically cool and 2-as their website says:

"Designed to fit your on-the-go lifestyle, our ultra lightweight water bottles are available in a wide array of colors and designs, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your personality. Extruded from a single piece of aluminum, our innovative SIGG Lifestyle Water Bottles is surprisingly rugged, crack-resistant and completely reusable and recyclable".

The best part is that even if you leave it out in sun, it doesn't get that sometimes unpleasant taste you can get from leaving your nalgene bottle out in the sun (you know what i'm talking about!)

My Sigg is the version below, the Maharadsha but in purple.

Wicked Yummy Sheets

Aly Here...

As the weather in New England is going to take a turn for the cold at the end of the week, I am going to recommend some awesome sheets.

As a kid growing up in New Jersey, I always had flannel sheets in the winter. In college I was strictly a jersey sheets gal (perhaps a little homesick? no? not funny?) . And while I still have 2 sets of fantastic t-shirt sheets, when you live in the oldest house in the city that has yet to be renovated since it was first built, I could use something warmer. And so I give you these fabulous sheets (available ON SALE at your local Target (pronounced whichever way you find less annoying)). They are super soft and comfy. Give 'em a try!

    Wicked Yummy Lips

My new favorite (and very very cheap) lip gloss is amazing! Nivea has come out with a wonderful gift for you lips. Not only does it make your chapped lips feel better and less dry it also gives your lips a really nice (not sticky) glossy look that last for a surprisingly long time! I love this new gloss because its less than 5 dollars and you don't need a lot when you put it on. It also tastes like fruit punch! I think this lip gloss is better than most expensive brands I have tried and am going to go put more on right now!

    Wicked Yummy CD

    Aly here:

For my first ever wicked yummy find, I will recommend a CD. How fitting. My wicked yummy find for day is the new Jack's Mannequin CD "The Glass Passenger". go buy it. now. You will not be sorry.

The CD chronicles the lead singer's (dashingly handsome Andrew McMahon) battle with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It ranges from touching to funny and ends leaving you feel more alive than ever.

Play tracks 3 (Swim) and 11 (The Resolution) really loud when you are driving around town.

    You can thank me later.
